Hi from a Utah wikipedian
[edit]Hi David,
do you know of meetings for wikipedians in Utah? Please let me know, Adrian Comollo (talk) 21:00, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
Great user page design... hope you don't mind.
[edit]First off, hats off on your User Page design and layout. It is one of my favorite therefore when I set out to create my own page, I took a little page from your book. Actually, I utilized your page as a template. I stumbled across your page on the Wikipedians "Genealogist" category, of which I am also listed on. Wonderful work and many thanks being such an engaged Wikipedian David! Jason Gaudet (talk) 01:25, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- "Nice User Page! Have you researched the Gov. William Bradford connections to the Salem Witch Trials? David Nelson (talk) 06:01, 19 September 2008 (UTC)" - David, No I have not and only just recently read indepth on the subject. What was his connection? Image source problem with Image:Obrienl oh.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Obrienl oh.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 09:37, 5 November 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Ricky81682 (talk) 09:37, 5 November 2008 (UTC)
Invitation to join WikiProject Genealogy
[edit]I am extending this invitation to you because you are listed as a Wikipedian genealogist. WikiProject Genealogy seems to have ground to a halt, and I'm hoping to either "reboot" it or, if interest is lacking, eliminate it. If you are so inclined, please visit "This project's purpose" topic in WikiProject Genealogy Talk at your earliest convenience and respond to my comment. (You might have to scroll down a bit; my comment is mostly boldfaced.) If you are not willing or able to participate, please notify me of such in email, and I won't disturb you further about this matter. Thank you. -JohnAlbertRigali (talk) 07:56, 20 December 2008 (UTC)

I noticed you sourced the above article from Wikipedia (thanks for working on it) but Wikipedia is not a source. When you get a chance, could you please remove all self-citations you've made to WP? Thanks. =) -Shootbamboo (talk) 22:13, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
Please be reminded that abusing multiple accounts to evade scrutiny is contrary to policy, and so is recruiting other people to edit on your behalf. I have blocked the User:ElijahStone account; if you do it again, all of your accounts will be blocked. Tim Song (talk) 14:56, 5 June 2010 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
